Membership Dues Increase Letter
Dear Valued VCIA Members,
The VCIA deeply appreciates your ongoing support and commitment to our association. We are writing to inform you of an upcoming change to our membership dues.
After careful consideration and a thorough review of our financial requirements and the services we provide, the Board of Directors has decided to increase the annual membership dues by 5.5%. This adjustment is essential to ensure that we can continue to deliver the high-quality programs, advocacy, and resources that our members expect and deserve.
Effective Date: April 1st, 2025
New Annual Dues Amount:
Full: $1,090/year
Associate: $1,260/year
Affiliate: $875/year
Cell: $315/year
Previous Annual Dues Amount:
Full: $1,035/year
Associate: $1,195/year
Affiliate: $825/year
Cell: $295/year
This increase will enable us to enhance our current offerings and introduce new initiatives aimed at providing even greater value to our members. We are committed to supporting your success and growth, and we are excited to share some of the specific benefits your membership will continue to provide:
- Webinars included in membership dues. We’ve heard from many of you and have now built all VCIA webinars, including our new think tank program, into your membership package.
- An increased captive lobbying presence. We have retained our federal lobbying firm McIntyre + Lemon to spearhead an annual Washington D.C. advocacy mission that will advance Vermont captive interests and protect the industry at large.
- A sophisticated website with higher value. We have built a new website in which we plan to house member-only material and resources.
- Forthcoming AI Assistant. With the intention of eventually putting most of its abilities behind a paywall just for VCIA members.
- Strategic planning initiatives. We are planning many rollouts, including a member ListServ and member chapter groups, which will require investment and maintenance for specific internal and public-facing software. The strategic initiatives are intended to provide year-round value to members and have a significant impact for the association for years to come.
These benefits, along with many others, are designed to provide substantial value and support to our members. We are committed to continually improving and expanding our offerings to meet your needs and help you achieve your professional goals.
We understand that any increase in dues may be a concern, and we want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly. Our goal is to provide exceptional value for your membership, and we believe that the additional resources will significantly benefit you and all our members.
