Captive Community Starts Here.

VCIA membership provides concrete takeaways—like member-only think tanks, discounts, legislative reports—as well as the intangibles of belonging to a collegial and collaborative industry community.

VCIA Represents Members

Since 1985, VCIA has provided effective state and federal legislative advocacy for Vermont's captive industry.

Be in the Know

With VCIA you won’t make a business misstep based on inaccurate or outdated information. In fact, it’s the complete opposite: a VCIA membership equips your organization with the latest captive trends and regulations.

An active member network

Operating alone can be a struggle, but with a VCIA membership you instantly can connect with peer members and find common ground regarding business challenges and opportunities on lines of insurance, industry segments and much more.

Exclusive events & content

Peer think tanks on niche captive subjects, and our knowledge library spanning decades means you have significant captive data and intel at the click of a button. Not to mention two exclusive member mixers per year and the annual trip to Montpelier for VCIA Legislative Day
